Part 3
Gabriel x child! Reader

Gabriel made his promise to the youngest Winchester, he kept a close eye on her as she grew. He noticed that she had been bullied much as a child when she was in school or on the playground. All because she didn’t have the nicest looking clothes or having new backpacks every year. She also sometimes talked about monsters and ghosts, saying they were coming to get her. Every one of her class would point at her and call her a freak. No one would ever come to play with her or talk to her. She was often alone and playing by herself. Gabriel made this an opportunity to get close to her and be her friend without her knowing who he really was.

He arrived at the playground at a grade school and saw the little six year old on the swing sitting by herself. Not a friend to comfort her. That is not until he snapped his fingers and changed himself to be a six year old boy. Younger version of himself. He looked into the puddle at his reflection and fixed his hair a little, like he were trying to make a good first impression. Satisfied with the way he looked, he ran to the lonely little girl on the swing.

“Hi!” said the little boy as he came hopping to her with a very perky grin on his face.

“Hi.” She replied and looked at the golden eyed boy standing right in front of her.

“My name Gabriel.” He takes a dramatic bow like he was on a stage trying to impress the audience, and (Name) giggle a little at him before he looked back at her. “But you can call me Gabe. What’s yours?” He asked the girl like he did already know. Looked away from him just a little bit and gave a sad frown.

“(Name).” She replied weakly and Gabriel took notice of this and sat in the swing next to her.

“That’s a pretty name. Do you want to go play with me?” He asked and the girl just only gave him sad eyes.

“Why would you want to play with me? I’m a freak.” She murmured softly, but Gabe just gave a sassy scoff and jumped off the swing.

“That’s just stupid! Who said that?!” asked the little boy who seemed displeased at the little girl saying she was a freak. She then pointed at the other kids playing across the playground.

“They did. They say I’m weird and poor because I don’t have nice clothing like they do and that I move around a lot. But worst thing they tease me about, is that I don’t have a mommy.” She said sadly and looked down on the ground. Gabriel could feel the hurt and pain in the poor little girl’s voice. He would never tolerate any bulling of any sort on this girl. Or any child for that matter. It pained him to see her in such a state of sadness in a girl that had seemed to have so much will and energy. There are many children that are raised with only one parent, and many of them do sometimes get made fun of for it. Gabriel gave the kids a very solid glare and then turned back to her.

“Well, that’s sad to hear. How about I be your friend?” He asked her and she looked up at him with less saddened eyes that just seemed to shine in the sunlight.

“Really? You don’t think I’m weird? Or a freak?” She asked the Gabe and he shook his head.

“Nah, you seem pretty swell to me, doll face.” He replied and she giggled a little.

“What do you like to play?”

“Can we play hide and seek? I play that with my big brothers all the time.” She asked and Gabriel didn’t hesitate to nod his head. “Can I hide first?” She requested.

“Sure, I’ll start counting and you go hide somewhere.” He agreed and turned his back and the little (H/C) haired girl fled somewhere to find a hiding place. Gabriel continued to count and took a sneak peek to see how happy the girl was to find a friend to play with her. He smiled warmly at her sudden burst of happiness as she looked for a place to hide. He looked away, not wanting to ruin the game by finding out her hiding place.

“Ready or not here I come!” He shouted, but when he turned to try and seek her out, he instead saw a few of the other kids bulling her.

“Hey Winchester! Why is that kid playing with you? Does he have a mantle malfunction?” said one boy that seemed to be a few years older than her. Gabriel thought he had some nerve picking on a girl much younger than him.

“Yeah! Is he crazy or what?” Asked one girl that seemed to be the same age as (Name). “He has to be in order for him to play with you!”  Few of the other kids laughed and Gabriel ran towards them.

“Leave me alone, Jeff. It’s none of your business of who I play with.” She said looking down at the ground, not looking in the eyes of her tormentors.

“I think it should be, because no one want’s to play with some ugly, dirty and motherless freak like you. You might as well disappear completely.” He said and he pushed the poor child to the ground and she feel on the hard. The other kids were getting a real kick out of picking on this poor child, but for Gabriel that was more than enough.

“Hey! Leave her alone, you dick!” He yelled at the other kid and he turned to Gabriel.

“What did you say to me?” the nine year old turned to Gabriel, who seemed to stand his ground against him. He reminded him of his own brother, Lucifer. Always a bad temper and very easily set-off.

“You heard me. Leave this girl alone or you might regret it.” He said staring into this brutish child’s face.

“Oh and what are you going to do about it? The way I see it, you’re a freak too for playing with this girl. So just get lost, and let us have our fun!” He then pushed Gabriel down the ground and he landed right next to (Name). The other kids laughed in joy as the two were being put through such embarrassment and teasing. Gabriel knew he could not really hurt these kids like the way he did with his victims. As rotten and beastly as they were, they were still kids. He had no idea of what he was going to do with them. Then, while the archangel in disguise contemplated on what to do, (Name) stood up on her own two feet slowly and made herself stood up with a puffed up chest and angered expression.

“Oh, look! The freak is trying to look all big and tough. Get back in the dirt where you belong!” He then tried to push her down again, but this time the little had dogged him and made a fist in her right hand. She landed a really hard punch on the boy’s nose.

“Owie! Ahh! What the heck was that, Winchester?” the boy moaned and winded in pain as the girl gave him a very threating glare. Everyone could see that the boy’s nose was bleeding and he was not happy about it.

“Payback, you sorry piece of crap. Don’t hurt my friends, or you will get yours, butthead.” She then kicked him in the leg as hard as she could and he fell on his belly and stared to groan in pain even louder. Gabriel was both surprised an impressed at what she was capable of. She was only six years old and she was able to take down someone who was three years older than her. And a by even. This girl had major guts, and he liked it. (Name) then turned to the other children who were laughing up until now. They stood there in dead silence, looking at the little Winchester with fear and shock written all over their faces. “Anyone else want some?” She held out a fist and the other children went running. (Name) then turned to Gabe and helped pull himself up.

“Wow, (Name)! That was so cool!” He said with the most surprised grin on his face. She blushed at his comment a little. “I didn’t know you could fight like that! That was just awesome!”

“Well, I did had help.” She said humbly and

“Really? From who?”

“Well, ever since my mommy died, my daddy, my brothers and I have been on the road a lot and we learned how to fight. Daddy doesn’t like it when I use my skills outside of the house, so that’s why I didn’t fight off those bullies before.” She replied looking at Gabriel in the eyes. She could the small smile forming on his face.
“Well, I guess they’re not gonna pick on you anymore.” He replied and the girl than kissed him on the cheek. Gabriel blushed heavily at the notion like it was all new to him. Even thought he had kissed grown women before. But this was entirely new, he never felt this way before about a human. There just seemed to be this spark that came to him

“Thank you, Gabe. You made me brave enough to do it on my own.” She said and then an impala pulled up and a sixteen-year-old Dean Winchester walked out of the car, and also her other brother Sam who was twelve-years-old.

“Hey squirt! Let’s get going!” Yelled the oldest Winchester and the little girl ran to her brothers and left Gabriel behind.

“I’ll see you tomorrow!” Shouted the girl as she looked back to Gabriel and he waved happily. Dean and Sam both hugged their little sister and the three kids left for wherever they called home.
As soon as all the people were gone, Gabriel then snapped his fingers and left for his apartment with his little dog was waiting for him. He was back to his old self and he picked up the dog and started petting him. As he greeted his dog and starched his neck, he could not help but think about that kiss (Name) gave him on his cheek. It wasn’t like before, where he had kissed her cheek as a baby were is was just out of affection. This time it felt different, like there was something there. He didn’t know what it was but it felt like a spark in the kiss.

“Wait! No! There is no way that I have romantic feelings for my vessel! She’s just a kid and I’m her protector.” He placed down his dog and conjured up a chocolate bar.

“Besides, even if she was a lot older, there was no way it would work. It’s forbidden. Angels and humans do not mix. It’s nothing more than a crush. That’s it. It’s completely insane.” With that the archangel left to go and do his trickster business. Like he had done for the past few thousand years.
here is part 3 for Gabriel's vessel! It really took me awhile to do it!
